6 Tips to Living Victorious in Christ
You are never too young or too old to go hard for Jesus! In fact, “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14 ESV) You were a part of His plan before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5) If you are not walking in your purpose already, your purpose awaits you to surrender to God’s will and plan for your life.
Why just exist or suffer through this life struggling to make things happen, when your Creator already has a life planned for you. "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11) We have a choice. We can live this life within our limited power or live victoriously in Christ Jesus. Now, nobody is promising you no pain or trouble. Storms will come to us all. But those who are in Christ have a faithful sovereign Father that can bring us through anything. He is the God of the impossible and there is nothing too hard for Him. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 ESV) Living a life in Christ is far better than trying to live a life without Him.
Why not be great in your work life, home life, ministry, and relationships? God is concern about everything that concerns us. Even the smallest details of our lives. It takes submission and trust to be victorious in Christ. We were called to live a life of faith. “As it is written, the just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17b KJV) It will not be an easy life, but a victorious one. Are you willing to take the first step?
Make a commitment to place the concerns for your life in His hands. He is good and promises to make all things work together for your good.
Trust His sovereignty. He is in control over all thing both in the spirit and natural realms.
Accept His will and plan for your life, by following His lead. Do not get ahead of God or try to dictate how He blesses you.
Purpose in your heart that God is good no matter what. No matter the circumstances of your life acknowledge His goodness. Do not let uncomfortable situation change your perspective of who God is to you.
Prioritize building your relationship with God through prayer and reading His Word. Your relationship with Him affects how you relate to the people you encounter in your life.
Ask for wisdom and discernment. There are a lot of voices and distractions vying for a place in your heart. Guard your heart and only allow the Holy Spirit to reside there.
The above are not one-time actions. Making them a part of your daily practice will ensure a victorious life in Christ.
